Writing for Play

I’m excited just to start using this blog for fun. To write just to write…not for anything but that. To write as a form of play as my good friend just suggested.

To see words, inspiration, and themes emerge just by well…writing!

I sure could use more play. It is what kids do so well and I so love it when I get the chance to do it in any form!

Sometimes I think it’s us adults or maybe just me :) that make something that started out so fun and creative and curious and turn it into something that it doesn’t have to be.

I find when I turn something into something or make it harder…I stop doing it.

And I just want to write more!
